When you apply for membership or register for a ride, we collect the following information: your full name, email address, mobile phone number, city of residence, motorcycle details (brand, model, year, type), riding experience level, and Instagram handle (optional). This information is provided voluntarily by you through our membership application form.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively for community management purposes: to review and process your membership application, to verify your membership when registering for rides, to communicate ride details, schedule updates, and safety briefings, to maintain a member roster for emergency contact purposes during rides, and to personalise your experience on our platform. We do not use your information for marketing or advertising purposes beyond our own community communications.

Data Storage & Security

All personal data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure, hosted on servers in the Asia-Pacific region. Supabase employs industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Access to member data is restricted to authorised Rev It Ongole administrators only. We do not store payment information — any future paid events will be handled through third-party payment processors with their own privacy standards.

Photography & Media

Rev It Ongole rides and events may be photographed or filmed for use on our website, social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), and promotional materials. By participating in a Rev It Ongole event, you consent to your image being captured and used in this manner. If you do not wish to appear in published media, please inform the ride leader or photographer before the event. We will make every reasonable effort to honour this request.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Your data is shared only in the following limited circumstances: with ride leaders for the purpose of organising and managing rides you have registered for, with emergency services in the event of a medical emergency during a ride (name, blood group, and emergency contact only), and as required by applicable law or court order.

Cookies & Website Analytics

Our website may use essential cookies to maintain your session when logged into the admin portal. We may use anonymous analytics tools to understand website traffic patterns (page views, device types, geographic region). No personally identifiable information is included in analytics data. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; however, this may affect the functionality of the admin portal.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your membership is active. If you request removal from the community, your personal data will be deleted from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Ride registration records may be retained in an anonymised form for historical and safety records purposes.

You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your data, withdraw consent for specific uses of your data, and lodge a complaint regarding our data practices.
